The modeling domain considered for the the air pollution analysis and air quality forecasting over the Indian Subcontinent extends from 67°E to 99°E in longitudes and 7°N to 39°N in latitudes. We divided this domain into 128 x 128 equal size grids @ 0.25° resolution in both the direction. The map below shows the geographical extent of the modeling domain, covering the seas in the West, South, and East directions, the mighty Himalayas in the North, the dry and the arid lands in the West, and the forests of the Southeast Asia, all of which are important sources and sinks of emissions, along with all that happens over the Indian Subcontinent.
